Adam Douglas
CSCS
Adam started working at the ACC in May 2005 after
graduating from Queen's University with a Bachelor
of Physical and Health Education and a Bachelor
of Arts in Health Studies. On top of his formal
education, Adam is a Certified Strength and Conditioning
Specialist with the National Strength and Conditioning
Association.
While at Queen's University, Adam played Varsity
football for three years before injuries sidelined
his career. Adam then turned his attention to off-season
conditioning and worked with football players in
the off-season to improve their on-field performance.
In the summer of 2004, Adam completed an internship
with Cris Carter's Fast Program in Boca Raton Florida
where he worked with numerous athletes of all sports
and ages. His main focus while at Fast was the
conditioning of many Division I and professional
football players. Upon his return to Queen's, Adam
worked as a trainer with general fitness clients
and varsity athletes, and acted as the head coach
with the Kingston Special Olympics Powerlifting
team.
Adam recently relocated to Ottawa after growing
up in Mississauga, ON. |
